Three Arrested After Police Dismantle Prostitution Ring In Maryland, Officials Say

Several massage parlors were shut down in Maryland following an investigation into alleged prostitution operations, according to the Frederick Police Department.

Tipsters alerted the agency in January about alleged illegal activity in the county, resulting in the arrest of three women who are accused of running the trafficking and prostitution network.

Those taken into custody this week: 

  • Jinchan Yang, 37;
  • Xiaohing Wan, 47
  • Yuxia Chang, 44.

According to officials, on Monday, members of the Frederick Police Department, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations executed search warrants at: 

  • 1337 Taney Ave. in Frederick;
  • 1446 Key Parkway in Frederick;
  • Two Sisters – 178 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 103 in Frederick;
  • TCM Aroma Therapy – 1517 W. Patrick Street, Suite C8 in Frederick;
  • Aromatherapy Body Rub – 93 S. McCain Drive, Suite 2 in Frederick;
  • A 2023 Lexus RX350.

Following the execution of the search warrants, the three women were arrested and charged with fourth-degree sex offense, second-degree assault, soliciting prostitution, and prostitution.
